Integrity Counselling

Supervision for counsellors, student counsellors and professionals.

In my practice I supervise qualified counsellors, student counsellors in training and other Professionals. I am BACP Senior Accredited supervisor, MBACP (Snr. Accred.)

I supervise students from Farnborough College of Technology, Guildford College, CWR, London Theological College and Roehampton University in addition to qualified counsellors. My practice is near Farnborough College of Technology.

In supervision my focus is on you, your development as a counsellor and your practice and working together to achieve the best possible results, whilst forming an open honest working alliance. I see supervision as a collaboration between two colleagues.

Supervision is extremely helpful for other professionals helping to review and develop their professional practice, whilst also reviewing the importance of a personal life work balance.

I use the Inskipp and Proctor, Formative, Normative, and Restorative aspects of supervision. I work in accordance with the seven eyed supervision model devised by Hawkins and Shohet. I also work in accordance with the B.A.C.P. Code of Ethics for good practice.

If you are starting practice for the first time it is necessary to find a trained supervisor whom you feel able to trust, to enable you to be open about your practice. As you start out in practice it is important to feel you have the support necessary for each stage of your development as a counsellor.
